People often ask what sets us apart from the typical co-packer. Is it our processes, certifications, systems, facilities, equipment or experience? No, we believe it’s our culture.
To exemplify our culture, we have a number of expected behaviors for our team, the first of which is “wow the customer.”
This means doing the little things – as well as the big things – that blow people away. Create extraordinary experiences they’ll tell others about. Create customer loyalty by doing the unexpected.
Michael Robichaud, who manages our Winston-Salem warehouse operation, recently provided a great example. Michael and his team were in the middle of the busiest shipping week to-date in 2024, with 40-50 trucks going in/out daily. The team was performing with extremely tight execution. And then in the midst of the standard craziness, Michael set an example for us all by personally doing a little thing extra – assisting a disabled truck driver who needed some help. Unprompted, she in turn provided a 5-star Google review, thanking him for being a “pleasure to deal with.” What a simple act to illustrate to us that something small can have a really big impact. Thanks Michael, for your leadership and example. That’s what sets us apart!
